COVID-19 Coronavirus - Access Able Action Statement – Access Able Ltd COVID-19 Coronavirus - Access Able Action Statement – Access Able Ltd

In light of the current situation, we would like to issue a statement to our customers
to inform you of our actions with regards to the COVID-19 Coronavirus and to reassure you
of our commitment to continuing to support you through this time.

At Access Able, our two priorities are the health and safety of our customers and our staff,
and being able to continue to support our customer’s mobility and independence.

We are taking extra precautions in line with advice from the health authorities
with regards to increased personal hygiene, as well as thorough, regular disinfecting
of our showroom and all of the equipment that comes in and out.
Customers are also welcome to use the facilities when visiting our showroom should they wish to.
Our engineers are taking extra precautions and being especially vigilant when visiting
customer’s homes and are happy to respect additional wishes you may have at this time.
We also ask you to respect any measures we may wish to take to protect ourselves as we see fit.

We are currently still operating as usual with an open shop, our full range of maintenance and repair services, and as always, we are here for you on the telephone
or through email or the contact form on our website.
We will often be working with a scaled down staff team to keep our staff contact
to a minimum, whilst still suiting the demand of our customers.

With the encouragement from the government for self-isolation and social distancing,
especially for the ill and elderly, as well as the potential for a lockdown,
we are aware that a lot of our customers and others like them may feel particularly lost or worried about being able to retain their independence throughout this uncertain time, and that many rely heavily on a range of mobility and disability equipment to live their day-to-day lives.
We want you to know that we are still here for you and with the necessary precautions taken into account, we will continue to trade and to support our customers to the best of our ability!

Whilst we are still open to the public, if you do have concerns over contact
but need to use our services there are many ways we can continue to help you in which
you can have little or no contact with our staff.
If you have equipment that needs servicing or repairs, we can arrange to collect your equipment remotely, carry out the repairs at our workshop and remotely return the equipment to your home. Alternatively we can carry out the work outside of your property or in an open garage.
If you have a problem with your stairlift we are happy for you to stay in another room
while we carry out the entire job should you wish to.
Payments, as always, can be made by credit/debit card over the phone to a member of staff at our showroom. Our engineer would usually carry out this process for you but we are more than happy to speak to you personally if you would prefer to call us yourself once the work is complete.

If you would like to purchase items from our catalogue or website you can order over the phone
or by email. Many items can be sent directly to you in the post from our suppliers. Alternatively it may be also be possible for us to arrange to remotely deliver other items ourselves to a safe place on your property. Please note that charges will be applied for additional services.

Select items can also be purchased from our eBay store – CLICK HERE TO BROWSE

If you have any concerns or special requirements, or need any additional advice or help,
we are always here for you on the end of the phone, please don’t hesitate to call us
and we will do what we can to accommodate and assist you.

We are all quite unsure how this situation may affect our lives and for how long,
but Access Able will continue to serve our customers and our community
in every way we can, for as long as we can!
